Caribbean Family Surf Camp With The Mann Family Begins!
Many families these days seem too busy to take the time to connect and spend quality time together. With the vast range of indoor entertainment options, including video games, TV and computer activities, it’s sometimes difficult to gather momentum for quality family time outdoors. However, this is a different story for the Mann family. Kathy Mann, mother of Austin, Charlie, and Mary Ashburn has decided to take her family on an action packed family surf camp adventure that they will never forget!
The Mann’s have grown up surfing the waters of Wrightsville Beach, North Carolina and enjoy spending time together through activities in the outdoors. With over twenty years of combined surfing experience, the family has come to the Caribbean to further improve their skills, while soaking up the warm translucent water. Each day so far has been a unique adventure in itself. While winding through high altitude ridge roads overlooking turquoise water and secluded coves, we witness breathtaking views as far as the eye can see.
After a full morning of surfing, we enjoy lunch at a quiet oceanfront café. While enjoying tasty Caribbean cuisine and watching waves roll in, we plan our adventure for the afternoon. Whether it’s snorkeling colorful reefs full of marine life, hiking mountain trails to the highest point on the island, or simply relaxing and going for another afternoon surf session, we make the most of each glorious day! With an increase in wave size on the forecast, we can’t wait to see what the rest of the week will bring. Through the help of daily photos and video analysis, each family member is working towards their own specific surfing goals. Stay tuned for further updates on the Mann family’s Caribbean surfing adventure!
