Rainbow Sandals hooks up WB Surf Camp

This summer WB Surf Camp has been blessed with the Aloha of wearing some of the finest sandals in the world. For over 35 years Rainbow Sandals have been making the longest lasting, most durable, comfortable, and stylish surf footwear.

Thanks to the vast amounts of research, design and product testing that founder Jay Longley, Jr has invested into the materials, you could say that Rainbows are one of the most eco friendly flops out there. Each pair is hand made using specially formulated glue and personally formulated sponge rubber of various densities to mold to the each individuals foot. Most importantly, the straps are made to never break or blowout. Inspired one day sitting at his local break he observed another cheap sandal with a busted strap littering the beach. The process began from that moment and continues to this day through reputation and word of mouth.

Every instructor with WB Surf Camp has just lit up with excitement at the sound of “free Rainbows”. You know how legendary something is when everyone starts speaking in softer tones with heads bowed slightly forward and eyebrows raised. “Have you ever owned a pair of Rainbows?” The anticipation of possibly having shared in the experience of countless others before us. It feels similar to the question, “Have you ever gotten barreled?” Some sacred feeling of enchantment rolls off the speaker’s tone of voice and a magic glimmer glazes over their eyes.
