Friends of Masonboro Volunteer Event

 On February 21st from 6pm to 9pm Katy’s Great Eats at 1054 South College Rd in Wilmington, NC will be hosting the Friends group for Masonboro Island and Carolina Estuarine Research Reserve in an event to celebrate the many volunteers who are involved in taking care of the island, to get more people involved, and to raise funds to support stewardship projects such as education outreach efforts and equipment for the summer intern program.

Past, present, and future volunteers gathering are welcomed to learn more about how to take care of Masonboro Island raise support. There will be live music, door prizes, and refreshments for just a simple donation at the door.
