Certified Surf Instructor

As a former intern instructor of Surf Camp, Rhett understands exactly what is necessary to get the job done. He is an extremely hard worker and has the patience and openness to listen to everyone around him. His positive energy rubs off on those in his company, and he inspires campers and fellow employees to perform at the best of their capabilities. While he knows how to have fun, he also understands the seriousness and responsibility that comes with surfing.

Rhett has been swimming his whole life and surfing for six years, and never shies away from a chance to share some of what he knows about the ocean and marine life. He is very easy to talk to and loves meeting new people. He is always ready for a challenge and never leaves a task unfinished. Rhett’s undying work ethic and shining personality make him an ideal Surf Camp instructor. Rhett will serve as Surf Instructor during the 2009 season.

Education: B.S. in progress, Exercise physiology, East Carolina University
