Matt was rarely able to get to the ocean as a kid, but after moving to Wrightsville Beach, NC, it became clear that Matt was a fish in a past life. Matt had always played extreme sports, and took up surfing upon moving to the coast. Surfing not only provided a great source of exercise, but offered a getaway from the hectic world.

In his free time, when the sea is calm, he enjoys skateboarding, fishing, and most importantly, playing guitar. Matt graduated this May with a degree in Marketing and Psychology from UNC-Wilmington. Unsure of his next move, the only thing certain is that surfing will play a crucial role in determining his future steps.
