Jen feels a spiritual connection to the ocean, which surfing, more than anything else, brings out. She sees a lot of faces of people surfing, and says that whether she is watching a beginner or an expert, the smile is the same. Jen teaches English and coaches softball at Hoggard High School during the winter, and spends her summers teaching kids to surf. She enjoys playing with her dog, Scout, learning new sports, and reading in her hammock. She is excited to begin her fourth season with Surf Camp, where she savors introducing people to the ocean she loves.
