Clint Henry
Certified Surf Instructor

Clint was born and raised in Wilmington, NC and has spent much of his time in and around the ocean. He has been surfing for seven years, usually on long boards. He currently rides a 9’0 Walden, which allows him to ride in wide-ranging conditions. Clint taught himself to surf on an old fun board. It took an entire summer of persistence but paid off when he finally caught a wave. He will never forget the feeling he had that day, and he has been surfing ever since.

Clint is majoring in community health at UNC Wilmington and graduated in Dec 08”. He plans to continue his education in public health, as he enjoys working with people and learning about healthcare. He currently works with a pharmaceutical company’s worksite health promotion.

When Clint is not out in the water he enjoys running, and plays on baseball and softball teams. He is currently training for a half marathon, and hopes to one day run a full marathon.
