Renee grew up in Doylestown, Pennsylvania and has always had a love of the ocean and marine environments. She relocated to Wilmington, North Carolina to study marine biology at the University of North Carolina, Wilmington.

Renee’s appreciation for children and marine conservation grew after her experiences with Surfrider education programs and volunteering for the North Carolina Aquarium. She also spent time working in children’s programs for Sea World, where she was witness to the dawning excitement and love of marine life in each child’s eyes. She brings her love of the ocean, children, and the outdoors to our Surf Camp family.
