Emily Haynes
Reservation Specialist

Having moved across several states while growing up, Emily is thrilled to be back in North Carolina, the state in which she was born. Although not a surfer herself, Emily is an avid lover of the outdoors, nature conservation, and especially the beach. She enjoys yoga, photography, walking the sandy beaches at Topsail Island, curling up with a good book, and trying out new recipes.

After graduating with a degree in Fine Art Photography from the University of Georgia, Emily’s career took her from the warmth of the south to cold winters in Ohio. She lived and worked in Cincinnati for several years managing an Art Department for a local company. It was in Ohio where she met her husband, a pilot and a surfer from Hawaii. His work brought them back to the south and to the ocean.

After a few lessons from her husband and from WB Surf Camp, Emily has found that catching a wave is a rush and a workout! She is thrilled to dedicate her time to a company whose foundation is built around fun, learning and eco-preservation. She looks forward to seeing the delighted faces of others as they catch their first wave.
