Charity Surf Camps - Aloha for Teachers
The staff at WB Surf Camp is committed to providing high-quality educational programs, because all of us were inspired and motivated by special teachers in our past. We could think of no better way to inaugurate our 2011 Aloha Camps than by honoring the hard work and dedication of primary and secondary school teachers in our area. WB Surf Camp is very proud of our community and especially those who are responsible for shaping and influencing the future direction of our state and country. These groups of amazing people put in long hours in overcrowded classrooms and are still able to mold the future minds of America. They deserve a huge thank you!
On Saturday, June 4th we will be hosting a complimentary learn-to-surf camp at Wrightsville Beach from 7:45 – 11 am. Instead of starting the morning with study hall or bus duty, you and your fellow teachers will experience the stillness and serenity of the early morning waters. This program will provide an introduction to the magical powers of the ocean as you receive individualized attention from professional, certified instructors under a 3:1 student to instructor ratio. WB Surf Camp uses a progressional and proven teaching system that helps build confidence, provides personalized attention, and ensures safety, relaxation, and fun, all while challenging personal limits in a noncompetitive atmosphere.
Join us at Wrightsville Beach Access #4 to support, celebrate, and cheer on the teachers in our community who daily encourage our children.
